Behind the Scenes: "Misread"

Here is an impression of filming on location. "Misread" is a short film written (and directed/cinematography) by Ben Ramsden and Sim Bala, and it's been shot over two days & nights around Ashton-under-Lyne.

Meanwhile I've been trying to pack my bags because tomorrow morning I will leave very early to travel to London. I'll be working on a short film, that's all I can say (for now)!

Apologies for the lack of updates (again) - will try and do more quick updates as often as I can. The music video for The Stanley Blacks, "Everest", has been released since last month and I'm very proud of it!

Sorry for the lack of updates, but for the past 1.5 - 2 weeks I've been very busy co-producing a short film which we shot two days ago at Delamere Forest (near Chester)! For now I can't say anything what the short film's about, but pretty soon I will tell more about it!

Today I've been working on a rough edit on "Everest" (The Stanley Blacks music video). A big, but good challenge! Tomorrow the director and I are gonna work on it together, hopefully finish it and then we're gonna colour grade it with the DOP (Director of Photography).

Yesterday was the shoot for The Stanley Blacks' music video and new single, "Everest"! We shot everything at Jabez Clegg in Manchester. Everyone has been really helpful (THANKS!) and I can't wait to start editing! For now a sneak peek of the shoot!

Getting ready for tomorrow

Sorting out a lot of paperwork, getting my bags ready... Not really the job of a camera assistant. But when you're working on a low-budget shoot and you're also helping out a friend it means doing a few roles at the same time. In this case it is producing, editing and of course also camera assisting! Here you see a sneak peek of the shooting schedule we've made yesterday. We're shooting a music video for an up-and-coming London based band called The Stanley Blacks at Jabez Clegg in Manchester - can't wait!
